“I am the Director of Operations at Pompos Jewelry Corporation. I am GIA GG and AJP. Before GIA, I graduated with Jewelry Design and JDT and acquired Metalsmithing and Wax Modeling certificates in Florence, Italy. While studying and working as a jewelry designer in Italy, I did not know about AGS, its mission and impact in the jewelry industry. As I continue my education in GIA, work in the fine jewelry industry and finally join AGS, I am reminded of the importance of giving back and aspire to help the consumer and the jewelry industry with my ongoing learning, much like how you have supported me. Adrien Kim has worked as a web designer, webmaster, and art director, but her undying passion for jewelry design led her to fly to Italy to pursue it. The AGS Way Scholarship will be a terrific next step toward achieving her goals.
