Conclave 2022 Events
Conclave is filled with memorable events, including our dynamic general sessions. Scroll down to see an overview of what is planned for each day. Enjoy mingling with other members of the outstanding AGS community; these events are a great opportunity to begin building relationships in the AGS! All events will take place at the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel and exact locations will be available in the mobile app once launched.
SUNDAY, APRIL 24
NEW MEMBER RECEPTION / 4:30 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.
New to the American Gem Society (AGS) community? Then make plans to arrive at Conclave in time for the New Member Reception. You’ll meet so many new members, from newcomers like you, to our AGS Board of Directors, and the AGS team.
After the reception, the fun continues at the Mentor Mixer and the annual Guilds Party.
Please note that this event is open for members that joined the community after September 2021.
MENTOR MIXER / 5:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.
Once you check in and unpack, come to the Mentor Mixer. This annual event kicks off Conclave in true AGS fashion—mingling with your friends and making new ones!
You’ll learn more about the AGS Mentor Program and find out how to participate as either a mentor or mentee. Interested in enrolling in the program ahead of time? Click here.
There will be appetizers and libations. Don’t miss the Mentor Mixer!

AGS GUILDS PARTY / 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
The fun continues after the Mentor Mixer! Join the “Guildies” for the annual Guilds party. The Regional Guilds are groups of members organized for area meetings throughout the year. Guild meetings provide opportunities for educational programs and discussions on matters of mutual interest.
During this networking event, attendees can learn more about the positive impacts that participating in your local Guild can have on your career. Plus, you can explore starting your own Guild if there isn’t one in your area. This is a great chance to make new friends!

MONDAY, APRIL 25
JFC RINGS OF STRENGTH CHARITY 5K / 6:30 A.M. – 8:00 A.M.
Rise and Sparkle! Join Jewelers for Children (JFC) for the Conclave edition of JFC’s Rings of Strength 5K.
Rings of Strength has helped raise over $350,000 for JFC, and in 2022, they will be holding their premier event in four cities, including Oklahoma City, OK at Conclave. Each event features a 5K route that you can walk, jog, or run—whatever you desire!
Start the first day of Conclave 2022 on the right foot (or the left) and help raise money for children in need.

BC Clark invites Conclave attendees to tour their Classen Curve location, named 2021 “America’s Coolest Jewelry Store” by INSTORE magazine!
Attendees can enjoy complimentary beer, wine, and light snacks (cash bar also available), sponsored by Precision Set, while touring the new 16,900 sq ft store Tuesday, April 26 between 6:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m. Reservations for this event were requested and are now closed.
Please note that shuttle transportation to and from the BC Clark event will be provided (15-minute ride). Two shuttles will be traveling to and from the Omni from 5:45-7:45pm.

We reached out to Mitchell Clark, CG, who sits on the AGS International Board of Directors, and asked him and his team at BC Clark Jewelers in OKC for their advice on where to go and what to do. They gave us an extensive list with a short review of each!
