Industry Leaders: AGS Elects New Board Members at Conclave 2024

At the American Gem Society’s (AGS) annual Membership Breakfast during Conclave on Wednesday, April 17, the membership confirmed the AGS International Board of Directors for 2024–2025.

Melissa Quick, CSA and Brad Hampton were elected as new additions to the Board as Directors-at-Large. Dave Bindra, RS, was elected as Chair of the Young Titleholders Committee. Ms. Quick is the President of Steve Quick Jeweler, and Mr. Hampton is the CEO of Helzberg Diamonds. Mr. Bindra is Vice President and Head of Acquisitions at B&B Fine Gems.

“It’s a true honor to lead the AGS International Board of Directors, a team of passionate industry professionals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the Society,” said newly-elected President Alexis Padis, CGA. “I want to thank Lisa Bridge and Maria Brown for their leadership. Lisa was an amazing president, and I am honored to follow in her footsteps. Maria’s many contributions to the Young Titleholder Committee have made a lasting impact. “I would like to welcome Melissa, Dave, and Brad to the Board. Their expertise will undoubtedly propel us forward. Together, we’re set to achieve amazing things.”
