Ways Members Drive Holiday Traffic and Engagement on Social Media

Members of the AGS community are helping their clients get in the holiday spirit in a number of ways, and they are using social media to draw in shoppers.

We scrolled through Facebook and Instagram to see what kind of promotions AGS retailers post regarding their holiday events. Here are some that caught our attention.

Jay’s Jewelry showed their community spirit by promoting a Christmas parade and inviting attendees to shop their holiday specials. It’s a clever idea to leverage nearby community events as a way to invite customers to stop by while they are in the neighborhood.

Windsor Fine Jewelers knows how to put customers into the holiday spirit—by offering them spirits! They hosted a Holiday Open House, which happened to be in conjunction with National Bartender Day! We love the idea of taking a fun holiday like this one and making an in-store event out of it. Check out these holidays for 2022, and create your own unique event.

Windsor is also doing a Green Box Hunt, which they’ve been hosting in their community for five years, and is their take on a treasure hunt. A green box is hidden in the community, and if someone finds the box, they are awarded a piece of jewelry, often valued at $2,500 or more. Read more about it here.

Exclusively Diamonds put a holiday spin on Wine Wednesdays. Who couldn’t resist cocktails and candy canes?

They are also doing a live “Coffee and Carats” video post daily through December to share gift ideas on their Instagram page, and created a special promo shot to promote it.

Even Santa wanted to visit Farmer’s Jewelry this holiday. It’s a great way to bring in the family and develop a wish list…or get some shopping done!
